Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) was established by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) to serve as the investment and development arm for the entertainment sector – a key pillar of the ambitious social and economic plans undertaken in the Kingdom through Vision 2030.
SEVEN is enhancing the quality of life for millions of Saudi citizens and residents by improving the choice and quality of entertainment offerings within the Kingdom and developing local talent and capabilities in the entertainment industry. SEVEN partners with some of the world’s most recognisable brands to build world-class entertainment infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. SEVEN secured the first licence to operate cinemas in the Kingdom, and opened the first cinema in over 35 years, in partnership with U.S.-based AMC Entertainment Holdings, the largest cinema operator in the world.
Eventually, the new entertainment eco-system developed by SEVEN will include 20 entertainment complexes, two adventure parks and 50 cinemas, with the goal of transforming Saudi Arabia into a global hub for entertainment, culture, and tourism.
